Supporting animal welfare

My Promise

For as long as I can remember, animals have been a central part of my life. They are my family, my best friends, and a source of strength and support. While I have been fortunate to learn from some of the most accomplished trainers in the world, I always look for better ways to work with animals based on how their bodies and brains actually develop.

In my practice, I've taken what I've learned and adapted it to ensure that the animals I work with don't just become better partners but become healthier physically and mentally. By combining veterinary science and medical research with practical learning approaches, my goal is to strengthen the bond between dogs and their handlers so they can both gain the full benefit of this very special relationship.

I hope you'll join us to gain deeper insight into the relationship between dogs and humans while helping to make a difference to animals in need - both in our community and across the United States.

All the best,

Tracey Scott, MS, AbD

How we give back together

In honor of all the incredible dogs who have shared their lives with me, I donate services as well as a portion of our revenues to promote and support Animal Welfare. When you choose Graham County K9, Inc., your investment has a lasting impact - on you, your dog and others in need.

If you'd like to make a direct donation, below are links to a couple of the rescues we work with. Click on their logos and you'll be taken to their donation sites.

Donate to MAD - Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue

Here's how your investment benefits others:

  • $5 of your fee for our 6-week Group course is donated to one of our local or national animal welfare not-for-profit partners to help animals in need.

  • $10 of your fee for our 6-week Private course is donated to one of our local or national animal welfare not-for-profit partners to help animals in need.

  • $50 of your fee for 3-week Intensive Program is donated to one of our local or national animal welfare not-for-profit partners to help animals in need.

  • We work with Rescues to provide free temporary shelter until a foster is found to help them rescue more dogs. We also provide free lessons for their fosters and adopters.

  • We take in the more difficult dogs for Rescues to address behavioral issues to make them easier to adopt out. We also travel to shelters in the region to assess dogs for adoptability.
